Today is my last in the office before taking two weeks off. I’ll be back on Jan. 6th. I will most likely be taking some much needed time off of social media—or at least the mindless scrolling aspect of it. I do love sharing my favorite things and pretty images. I actually love Instagram for so many reasons, but I do think it’s good to take breaks to find your own creativity and to connect back with what is your own energy and what is others.

Herbs are a gift from Mother Nature. Everything we need to heal is already here; within us and outside of us in nature. We are a part of nature. She looks out for us. We have created so many man-made toxins (pesticides, plastics, etc etc) that we had to also man-make heavy pharmaceuticals to abate the symptoms (but, really just put a bandaid on them) and treat emergency situations. I get really frustrated when I hear someone say there is no cure for a certain illness. Just because science has not made a cure does not mean we don’t already have the cures. The cure is in the bodies ability to regenerate and heal, but it can’t do that if we are throwing in toxins by the bucketful. Our livers work SO SO hard for us every second of the day. When they become sluggish is not because our livers are lazy, it is because they are working 2-3 times as hard without getting fed, without getting nourished, and without getting any rest. So feed your liver: eat lots of natural glucose from fruit, lots of green vegetables and dark leafy greens, take herbs and supplements to support the liver, and eat less fat (the new trendy Keto diets are very harmful for the liver and even if they aren’t causing problems now they will in the long term).

Hope everyone enjoyed that extra hour of sleep, I know I sure did.
