Marge Cares Foundation

Marge Wilson passed away April 8, 2011 from breast cancer. This is a cost that is not and probably never will be covered by the insurance companies.

One of Marge’s wishes before she passed was to set up a fund to assist patients in small rural communities for their travel expenses to and from their medical procedures. Being from a small community of Glendo, Wyoming, she realized from her own experience the time and cost it took to reach the hospitals that offered the special help she needed that was not found in the small towns of Wyoming. Over the past 12 years, this fund has assisted a number of people in Glendo and the surrounding communities. Should you or anyone you know need assistance with travel for medical reasons, please reach out to us. We are here to help!

Thank you to Connie Eller for making and donating this absolutely beautiful afghan to this year's Marge Cares Foundation Annual Fundraiser. It's big and blue and sure to keep you warm!

The event will be on April 25th staying at noon in Glendo. Come on out for lunch, Bingo and the auctions. If you are lucky, you might just get to take these boards home!
