‼️New Research Publication Alert‼️.
New research publication from Dr. Eckenrode and colleagues. For runners with chronic Achilles tendinopathy, a sequential treatment of noxious electrical stimulation followed by eccentric exercise resulted in a clinically significant improvement in pain and function.💥

By Scott K. Stackhouse, Brian J. Eckenrode & 1 more. The application of noxious electrical stimulation plus painful loaded eccentric ankle plantarflexion exercise may improve pain, function, and measures of pain sensitivity in runners with chronic Achilles tendinopathy.

"Effects of high frequency strengthening on pain sensitivity and function in female runners with chronic patellofemoral pain"

✅ Improved pain with high frequency strengthening in female runners with chronic PFP.
✅ Primary and secondary hyperalgesia improved with strengthening at 8 and 12 weeks.
