MVDS is in partnership with Fat City Gallery to distribute four of this artist's vintage silkscreens. An American artist best known for his political posters and silkscreen artwork. His friendship and collaboration with gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson spanned more than four decades and created or inspired some of Benton’s most recognized works. Benton went on to create campaign posters for more than fifty candidates including George McGovern, Gary Hart and Pitkin Country Sheriff Bob Braudis.

Happy Holidays from all of us at MVDS! As we near the close of 2025, Mountain Valley Developmental Services would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who makes up our incredible I/DD community.

To our clients: Thank you for your bravery, resilience, and perseverance. It is an honor to walk alongside you and your families on your daily journey.

CO Gives Day is tomorrow! A $5 gift from a first time donor means almost as much as one for $500 from anonymous. That isn't because both aren't valuable and much appreciated; it's because both gifts were given from the heart with an understanding of who MVDS is and what we do to serve 600 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. What you can give matters, and is valuable to our I/DD early intervention and adult services programs. We all thank you!

Hand Made by MVDS! We are the grateful co-recipients of proceeds from food and baked good sales (and vendor fees) at the Elks Lodge Holiday Bazaar this SAT, DEC 6, 9a-2p, 51939 Hwy 6, Glenwood Springs. The Baked Goods are donated by MVDS' friends and staff, and are absolutely delicious! Food for sale will be breakfast burritos, soup, chili and sandwiches. A good chance for you to support those with I/DD and to holiday shop!
