As we are still reminiscing on the business of caring breakfast, GMCC wanted to take a moment to thank our incredible volunteers! The help and support from the women of the North River Circle of the King's Daughters and Sons was vital in the ex*****on of this event, and we couldn't be more grateful. Yesterday, the Ware River Circle of The King’s Daughters & Sons presented GMCC with a donation to help support patient care services and provide critical medications for uninsured individuals in our community. Pam Driggs and Virginia Evans formally presented the donation to our Executive Director Arlene Armentor, which was raised during their recent “Game Night” fundraising event. Thank you so much to Ware River Circle of the King's Daughters and Sons for this generous donation!

Our Story

We are committed to everyone from Gloucester and Mathews Counties having access to basic healthcare and patient education.

The Gloucester Mathews Care Clinic was founded in 1998 by a group of parishioners from Abingdon Episcopal Church who were concerned about Gloucester & Mathews residents without insurance and unable to afford medical treatment or medications. Initially located in Hayes through operating space provided by Riverside Health System, we moved into our current facility in 2014. We have expanded from serving just over 100 patients in our first year to now over 900 patients annually.
