At the end of October, hosted our third Senior Conversations! 👏

This event is co-hosted by Bay Aging, Edward Jones, and the Alzheimer's Association.

Together we help educate the public on senior care, senior options, and planning for the future. 📚

Alongside our hosts, are four other amazing panelists and this session included: The Heritage Law Group, Mathews Family YMCA, Fire & Rescue, and a local Funeral Home. 🍍

Attendees also experienced CSL's pristine Dining and it was perfect way to top off the day! 🍽️

To celebrate our Signature Program theme of Vintage Candy, our amazing Business Office Manager, Robin, brought her apple core peeler and slicer to help us create caramel apples! 🍎🍫

Everyone picked between toppings like caramel drizzle, chocolate drizzle, chocolate chips, and peanut butter. Some of us even turned them into apple nachos! 😋

Two of our lovebirds, George and Jewel, celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary and we were so honored to be there for it.

The two renewed their vows thanks to Charlotte, our amazing Dining Services Director and Ordained Elder.

October’s theme is vintage candy and stores, so you know how we're celebrating! 😋

We visited the Wythe Candy & Gourmet Shop located in Williamsburg, VA and seeing all the different types of candy definitely had us craving some.

The highlight was being able to watch their team make fudge! It was such a sweet experience. 🍬🍭
