March 6th was National Denim for Dementia Day! 👖🥳

This holiday is a global awareness campaign where people are encouraged to wear denim to show their support for people impacted by Dementia.

During , our residents and associates spent time creating their own denim art, whether to keep with them or add to their jeans!

It was a simple, yet powerful way to raise awareness for those living with Dementia and other cognitive impairments.

Sometimes the best part of a road trip is the stops along the way! 🚗✨

Our residents enjoyed a sweet stop at Starbucks, where everyone picked out their own special drink and treat.

From warm coffee to delicious goodies, the afternoon was filled with laughter, great conversation, and plenty of smiles. ☕

was thrilled to join Walter Reed's first Senior Resource event at the local YRC theater! 👏🎬

With nearly 100 attendees and over 10 community vendors, the event was a fun and interactive way for local seniors to connect and learn more about their options.

It was wonderful to see the turn out from our local community and the connection it holds! 🧡

February 26th was National Write a Letter to an Elder Day and we teamed up with Little Lights Childcare Center to make cards for our residents! 💌

Everyone was so surprised and excited to receive these sentimental gifts. These little moments can create big memories! 🥹 💭
