Beauport Ambulance Service is proud to announce that we have equipped all eight of our paramedic units with the i-View video laryngoscope!

This advanced tool is designed to assist our paramedics in placing emergency airways in critical patients by providing a direct view of the patient’s airway anatomy via a built-in camera and LCD screen. The i-View is unique from other video laryngoscopes because it features a one-piece, completely disposable design. This makes it rapidly deployable, easy to replace, and requires no maintenance.

This is yet another cutting-edge tool to enhance our life-saving capabilities!

Yesterday at 13:11 hours, Beauport Ambulance Service was requested to assist Manchester by the Sea Fire Department at a working structure fire on Norwood Ave.

P87 and A9 were assigned to the incident and remained on scene for the duration, providing standby coverage. Fortunately, both units were cleared by command without any patient care required.

Strong work by all crews involved, and we’re always proud to support our partner communities when called upon.

We had the privelage of having Rory be an instructor for a short period of time. RIP Rory

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of one of our own. Paramedic Rory Putnam has passed following a long, hard fought battle with heart disease. Rory will be remembered for his care and compassion for all his patients as well as his enthusiasm and dedication to education in the EMS industry. You will be missed. RFB-KTF.

This past weekend, our North Shore division was hard at work alongside the Rockport, MA Fire Department, responding to two structure fires in the Town of Rockport—one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Incident assignments were as follows:

🚑 Saturday: P87, P90, A10
🚑 Sunday: P87, S4

Beauport Ambulance is proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters in Rockport, as well as all of our partner communities, whenever we’re called upon.

The Beauport Ambulance Service Training Center is excited to announce our upcoming EMT course starting May 2, 2026 at our training facility in Gloucester, MA!

📍 Location: 19R Pond Rd, Gloucester, MA
📅 Course Dates: May 2 – August 1, 2026
⏰ Schedule:
• Wednesdays: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
(No class on July 4)

Our extended Saturday sessions allow for a shorter overall program length while providing more hands-on, practical training time throughout the course.

💲 Cost: $1,600 + testing & textbook fees
📘 Textbook: Emergency Care, 15th Edition by Limmer

Beauport Ambulance Service would like to recognize two outstanding employees - Wayne Gilbert and Alison Benson - who have gone above and beyond to ensure the smooth operations of our Marblehead and Swampscott contracts, as well as continuous effort in making sure shifts are staffed company-wide, especially on weekends.

Wayne has been a tremendous asset to Beauport Ambulance since his hire in October of 2022. Since being promoted to a Supervisory role, Wayne has lead by example and has been an integral part of our success in our newly acquired 911 Contracts of Marblehead and Swampscott. From his professionalism, compassion, and integrity, Wayne is the overall epitome of a Beauport employee.

Alison has been an excellent example of a compassionate leader. She continuously is taking the employees work health into consideration and always going above and beyond to ensure the employees have the resources they need. Allison also is a valued member of the Management Team where she works diligently on ensuring the weekends are staffed accordingly.

Thank you Alison and Wayne for everything you do for this company, day in and day out. Your effort and dedication to Beauport Ambulance is greatly respected and appreciated!!
