Earlier this morning, Beauport Ambulance proudly celebrated the official ribbon-cutting ceremonies for our newly refurbished bases in the Town of Swampscott and the Town of Marblehead. Over the past five months, both locations have undergone extensive renovations to create modern, comfortable living and working spaces for our crews. Attached are some before and after photos from Marblehead as well as the interiors of both locations.
In Marblehead, the building received all-new siding and windows, a second garage door to accommodate an additional unit, fully updated interior walls and ceiling tiles, new carpeting and vinyl flooring, new furniture throughout, and the addition of a new bathroom with a shower to provide essential amenities for our teams.
In Swampscott, renovations included new carpeting and flooring, updated furniture, repaired and repainted walls, and a newly constructed bathroom with a shower to enhance crew comfort.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved in these renovation projects. Your hard work and dedication helped us create improved crew quarters in an efficient timeframe.
We would also like to offer a very special thank-you to the Marblehead Fire Department for generously providing living quarters and garage space for our ambulance and crews during the first four months of our Marblehead contract. When we entered service, we had nowhere to go and your support during this transition period made a tremendous difference. For this, we are extremely grateful beyond what words can communicate.
Please join us in celebrating the official openings of our newly refurbished bases!
