Ayurveda Wellness Healing offers Shamanic Energy Healing sessions. Assisting clients in redirecting ones momentum tunnel through Soul Retrieval’s, Illuminations, and Decouplings. Read on to learn more about The Illumination process and Decoupling.

The Illumination Process is the core practice of Shamanic Energy Medicine.

The illumination process consists of finding imprints in the LEF (luminous energy field), and erase them , so that we are not defended by our past, and the traumas that occurred to us. When the imprints that predispose us to certain behaviors, emotions, and beliefs, are erased, we do not have to keep on reliving them. Illumination is such a core practice in shamanic energy medicine because it allows us to clear imprints energetically, before they begin to manifest physically. Shamans work with and change the blueprint of our LEF.

The illumination technique allows you to experience your infinite, undying self...the self that never entered the stream of time, and the self that never lost connection with spirit. We heal by experiencing infinity. We realize we must not be tied down or defined by our past, and we can determine our infinite futures.

Decoupling: Resetting The Fight or Flight Mode of Survival.

After a traumatic event, many humans become stuck in the fight or flight mode, and can be stuck for the rest of their lives. When our fight or flight mode kicks in and we begin to make decisions in this survival state, we create dangerous situations for ourselves, and reinforce the idea that our world is not safe for us. While animals will innately reset their fight or flight mode, humans do not, because they cannot. However, when we look towards energy medicine, we see that shamans have discovered a way to reset our fight or flight mode of survival. This resetting is know as the decoupling process.

Above can be booked as a virtual or in person appointment.

Who doesn't want to look beautiful!!

Beauty is a feeling which brings satisfaction and confidence to a person. One's beauty is one's skin. Glowing, smooth and silky skin is base of a beautiful appearance. Rest all; color, and looks are secondary.

Acne and mostly all the skin diseases are results of "impure blood"!
Ayurveda tells that when one is facing problem with the skin it means that there is some problem within the body. Never forget these pains and rashes all are the language of the body to tell that something is going wrong with the body. We think it is bad. No, at Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC it is helpful for us, so that we can find what is the problem with the body for which it is showing these alarming conditions.

Don't suffocate your skin by applying some bad chemicals...when nature has all the best solutions for your beautiful Skin!

Lavender is calming and great way to reduce stress. We love to make Lavender Tea Bread to share with our friends and family.

Lavender Tea Bread
(makes one 8-inch loaf)

3/4 - 1 cup coconut sugar
5 tbl butter
1 1/2 tsp organic lavender leaves, lightly crushed with a mortar & pestle
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/4 cups wheat pastry flour
1/2 cup almond flour
1 tbl flax seeds
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp Himalayan Salt
1 cup yogurt, plain
2 tbl confectioners' sugar (to dust top)
1/2 tsp grated lemon rind (garnish on top)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8-inch loaf pan and line the bottom with wax paper (or parchment paper). All ingredients should be at room temperature prior to preparation.

In a 3-qt mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Stir in the crushed lavender and vanilla. Add the eggs; beat well with an electric whisk (or hand blender). In a 2-qt mixing bowl, whisk together the pastry flour, almond flour, flax seeds, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Gently gold 1/3 of the flour mixture into the sugar cream mixture. Fold in half the yogurt. Repeat the alternating pattern of flour and yogurt until all the ingredients are blended together.

Transfer the batter into the prepared pan. Bake until done, about 45 min. Test for doneness after 40 min. The bread is done when a sudden toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean and the bread starts to separate from the edges of the pan. Cool in the pan for 20 min. on a wire rack; then turn out onto the rack to cool completely.

Enjoy and share with your friends 😊

Dry brushing through the lens of Ayurveda....

The Benefits

Increases muscle tone
Improves skin texture (luminosity and suppleness)
Reduces the effects of stress on the body
Promotes weight management by supporting healthy metabolism
Supports natural detoxification
Improves lymphatic circulation
Enhances circulation
Stimulates areas that accumulate cellulite
The Contraindications

Avoid garshana if you have:

very sensitive skin
a skin condition, such as psoriasis or eczema
an open wound (skip the area)
inflamed skin due to sunburn or an allergy
an illness

Ayurvedic dry-brushing, called garshana (pronounced gar-shun-uh), promotes lymphatic cleansing and is a powerful way to support the removal of ama (cellular waste products) from the body. Garshana is traditionally done using raw silk or linen gloves, though many prefer to use a natural bristle body brush. This technique is recommended for people who have signs of ama, which may include fatigue, sluggishness, feeling physical or mental dullness, constipation, and a taxed immune system.

Dry brushing is also an excellent practice for the kapha time of year, the season of spring. During the spring months, snow is melting, water has saturated the earth, and flower pollen is carried on the breeze. This is the time of year when kapha can begin to accumulate in the lymph or the sinuses and create stagnation or respiratory congestion. Dry brushing helps to stimulate kapha in the body and encourage movement and drainage of excess mucus.

it is important to do abhyanga (Ayurvedic self-oil massage) after dry brushing. Organic cold pressed sesame oil is a good place to start. Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC carriers a wide variety of self-oil massage oils, including, sesame, Vata, Pitta, Kapha, and detox oil for your convenience.

Guidelines for Garshana—The Traditional Ayurvedic Dry Massage

Skin brushing is best done in the morning before bathing, with dry skin that is free from lotion or oil
Make sure the room where the massage will be done is a comfortable temperature
Stand in the bathtub/shower or on a towel to avoid getting flaky skin on the floor
Using gloves or a brush, massage vigorously to stimulate the skin and lymph
Keep the direction of the stroke always toward the heart
Use circular strokes on the stomach and joints (shoulders, elbows, knees, wrists, hips, and ankles), and long sweeping strokes on the arms and legs (toward the heart)
Massage from the feet upward, continuing to the torso and on to the neck
Massage from the hands to the shoulders
Massage the stomach and buttocks in circular clockwise motions
Apply light pressure where the skin is thin or sensitive and firm pressure on thicker areas like the bottoms of the feet

A Story of Priorities and a Jar...

The following story is one that’s been circulating for awhile. We believe it holds a very important message regarding appropriately setting priorities in our lives.

A professor of philosophy stood before his class with some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a large empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks about two inches in diameter. He then asked the students if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was full.
So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly and watched as the pebbles rolled into the open areas between the rocks. The professor then asked the students again if the jar was full.
They chuckled and agreed that it was indeed full this time.
The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. The sand filled the remaining open areas of the jar. “Now,” said the professor, “I want you to recognize that this jar signifies your life. The rocks are the truly important things, such as family, health and relationships. If all else was lost and only the rocks remained, your life would still be meaningful. The pebbles are the other things that matter in your life, such as work or school. The sand signifies the remaining “small stuff” and material possessions.
If you put sand into the jar first, there is no room for the rocks or the pebbles. The same can be applied to your lives. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are truly important.
Pay attention to the things in life that are critical to your happiness and well-being. Take time for wellness, get out doors, reconnect with old friends (which they say are your golden friends) go for a run, write your grandmother a letter. There will always be time to go to work, clean the house, or fix the disposal. Take care of the rocks first – things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just pebbles and sand.
Finding time in the day for fitness is considered a “rock” for us all.

Ayurveda describes sleep as the "diet of the mind".

Our bodies metabolize waste products mostly after 10:00pm and the immune system needs to revitalize itself between 11:00 pm and 2:00am, so it's critical to be asleep during these hours.

Here are a few tips for a restful sleep:

* Be in bed by 10pm
* No electronics in the bedroom
* Avoid caffeine late in the day
* Try some deep breathing exercises before bed
* Take a warm bath
* Cooler bedrooms make for a better nights sleep

Contact Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC if you have difficulties falling asleep, wake during the night or sleep so heavy that it's hard to wake up - as these are all signs of an imbalance. During a private consultation we can determine where the imbalance lies.

How toxins (Ama) effect our health...

AMA clogs the channels of circulation in the body, preventing the unrestricted flow of nutrients to the cells and organs. Or it can clog the channels that carry waste from the cells and tissues, resulting in a toxic buildup.

We need to adjust our eating and habits to suit our digestive type. Digestion also fluctuates according to the seasons, and if we don’t adjust our diet and lifestyle when the weather changes, we may form AMA.

Through the lens of Ayurveda - you are not what you eat, but what you digest.

If you are experiencing any of the below, you may have a build up of toxins:

If you experience a heavy feeling in your body, if your joints are stiff, if your tongue is coated when you wake up in the morning, if you have an unpleasant body odor, if you feel dull and sleepy after eating, or if your mind is foggy, you may have a buildup of AMA in the body. Diarrhea, constipation, joint pain, sadness, dullness, lowered immunity, frequent bouts of colds and flu are all health problems that can be caused by AMA.
