A year later of lockdown . Hello ya all!
Our studio was one of the small businesses affected heavy by lockdown as you know! .....

I kept the studio the entire year waiting to reopen after lockdown & possible lifted governors outlines for fitness studios even though this is a meditation practice , very much like churches & those were locked down as well.
I was close in consideration to open this spring but on a very sad note Vince the landlord decided to put a cafe in the space !

I’m looking for another space.

There’s a couple out there , and if you plan on coming back to attend classes (Flow, Yin, Restore, Gentle & Vini) please shoot me a text 518-727-9200 or call so I can choose a space suitable for attendance as they range from 4 mats to larger like we had .

The students who contacted me & communicated heavy through this time are my hard core vinyasa flow peeps, we met up for masks, hand made sanitizers & group support often with my therapy dogs ! 💘🙏

The original studio served us well, I am blessed to have expanded my teaching with great growth & meet the most amazing students. Originally it wasn’t my vision to open a big studio with other teachers in the space , but it happened that way over 3-years ago & we were blessed to have the best , wonderful unique teachers !

Through this time of reflection at 54 years old , I’ve rediscovered as I always knew, I am a solo artist & wish to keep my studio quaint , a word of mouth discovery for others & cozy very chill relaxed vibe. Guest teachers, kirtan chanting, workshops welcome & perhaps even one teacher yoga/ reiki to share the space I am open to all of that !

Its no secret I am not into computers, emails , yoga isn’t big tech it’s about the practice, finding a teacher you resonate with & how you feel when you leave class!
I would post happenings on here once back open, group phone texts & have regular scheduled weekly classes ! My cousin bought me a very expensive Apple laptop during this lockdown , I would definitely do a one page website for weekly schedule once I get into the groove again.

That’s where I’m headed ....to find another Gloversville spot , while working on my own yoga shack on my land as it was always meant to be a 40 acre healing sanctuary !

I am available for private classes & will keep honoring any class card spots ya all have open.

My pleasure to welcome Meg & her Making Spirits Bright to the studio she’s taking space in the lovely downstairs room & she’s made it spectacular. Meg is a lovely talented lady ,hope you can meet her soon !
I feel this is a fine positive fusion !
My yoga studio is not officially back open yet but Meg is taking appointments now !

💚We are following Yoga Alliance Sanitary protocol. There is new extra herbal hand sanitizers & mat wash. Studio is cleaned following each class.

💚Please stay home if not feeling well & teachers will do the same canceling class, keep posted here daily.

💚Please bring your own blankets & props if you would like, we are limiting & eliminating for this period.

💚We are on the 16th month opening the studio, our classes are quaint & small scaled with local town yogis on a general basis, so we are all on the same page of being very sanitary! Private classes are welcomed!

💚We are looking into video on-line classes as well!

WE ARE OPEN! 💚whole week schedule will be out Wednesday, here’s a couple days:
Mon. 3/16 no classes today

we will take extra precautions now with cleaning for virus protection!

💚as students please wash your hands often at least 20 seconds.

💚if feeling under the weather or ill please stay home, as teachers we will do the same.

💚please refrain from touching nose eyes mouth, and if coughing use a tissue & dispose of in garbage, or if not possible use your sleeve to cover mouth & nose.

💚The Studio & props will be cleaned after every class. Mexican Blankets will not be offered at this time, please feel free to bring your own!
..we will put out extra hand sanitizer as well.

💚 we have elderberry sources to build immune system so please ask us about the elixer syrups.
Mohawk Medicinals Laurie might have some in stock & Home Stead Troupe Niskayuna is presently in stock Debbie can bring to the studio for you to purchase. Elderberry builds immune system & stops replication of virus in the body & heals illness. This is an old ancient herbal remedy! Not to be used in place of being under your doctors care or medications prescribed by your doctor .

Dreams do come true...

Debbie Zalondek is opening Twelve Green Petals LLC Yoga Studio, which will operate at 33 No. Main St. in Gloversville NY.

She chose to name it after The Heart Chakra (Anahata). The Studio will offer many diverse classes, workshops and events with the mission to build a strong community of peace, compassion, support & loving vibes in Gloversville, Johnstown, Fulton County area and beyond.

Debbie will continue to practice & share from the heart all of what has created the person she is today. Her experience began with a flower shop business she ran for 20 years, while volunteering with animal rescue work and obtaining her 500 hours of yoga teacher training.

Gloversville/Meco is her home now and she is very excited to root down.
