I am super excited to be able to teach two wilderness medicine courses with Joshua Enyart and the GB2 crew this year. We'll be offering a two-day WFA and an eight-day WFR course August 2026 in Colrain, MA.

These courses are designed to meet the needs of hikers, skiers, hunters, fisherman, trip leaders, camp staff, and other outdoor enthusiasts who recreate in remote locations. They will introduce you to caring for people who become ill or injured far from definitive medical care. Lectures and demonstrations are combined with realistic scenarios where mock patients will challenge you to integrate your learning. At the end of the courses, you’ll have the knowledge, skills, and ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations and receive certifications from SOLO and STB.

Last weekend we finished up a two-day Winter Survival Course. We will be running a scaled down one-day course at the New Hampshire Outdoor Learning Center on Saturday March 7th, 2026. If you spend anytime recreating in the winter, then come learn some valuable life-saving skills.
