In yoga, ahimsa means “non-harming.” It’s not just about avoiding violence; it’s about choosing care when indifference would be easier.

During this shutdown, a lot of our neighbors can’t afford groceries or basic necessities. Practicing ahimsa today means checking in, sharing what we can, and refusing to let anyone go hungry.

Helping each other isn’t charity—it’s how we remember we’re still a community.
