Sometimes a health concern starts with a simple thought: “Is this normal?” March 14 is International Ask a Question Day, a reminder that asking questions is an important part of taking care of your health.

If something doesn’t feel right, don’t ignore it. Talking with a healthcare professional can help you understand what’s normal, what isn’t, and what steps to take next.

1 in 5 people living with HIV in the United States do not know they have it. Today is National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, highlighting the importance of awareness, prevention, and routine screening.

HIV testing is a simple blood test and may be included as part of routine preventive care. Early detection allows individuals to begin treatment sooner and helps prevent transmission.

CHN’s primary care providers offer preventive screenings and can help determine what tests are appropriate for you. Call 541.412.2000 to schedule an appointment or learn more about CHN’s P*P’s here: https://www.curryhealthnetwork.com/staff/show_speciality.php?speciality=FAMILY+MEDICINE&by=special

Heart disease often has no symptoms, but a simple blood pressure check can save your life.

Nearly half of adults have high blood pressure and may not know it. Regular monitoring, cholesterol testing, and routine wellness visits help reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.

During National Heart Month, make prevention a priority by starting with a conversation with your primary care provider.

Every step counts — for your feet and your heart. Regular walking is one of the simplest ways to support heart health — just 30 minutes a day can help lower blood pressure, improve circulation, & reduce cardiovascular risk.

If foot pain, heel pain, or other concerns are limiting your ability to stay active, treatment may help you move more comfortably. Healthy feet make regular activity possible.
