What a wonderful day! We spent our day helping get the Seniors at Sunridge Village dressed and looking fancy in their tiaras and corsages! There was good food, good music, and the best of times! We sang and danced to the tunes of their time!! What a wonderful day!

✨🎈 Balloon Festival Magic 🎈✨

This weekend was something special. Our Living Waters Hospice booth became a little meeting place for stories, memories, and so much love.

So many of you stopped by to tell us we cared for your loved ones… and that you still remember the peace we brought. Those moments stay with us more than you know.

We also met families who are caring for someone right now and needed guidance, reassurance, or simply a reminder that they’re not alone.

And we’re celebrating something extra bright…
Three wonderful people asked for volunteer information! Compassion grows when people step forward, and we are so grateful.

To every partner, neighbor, friend, and family member who visited our booth: thank you. Your words lift us the same way those balloons lift into the sky.

We’re honored to serve this community.
We’re grateful for every story you trust us with.

Junior Catholic Daughters of America, Living Waters Hospice, and Food City are partnering to bring Thanksgiving meals to families in our community!

🦃 November 5th – November 21st

Pick up a black canvas bag from the Thanksgiving Feast table at Food City, shop for the listed items in-store, and return your filled bag to help provide a complete Thanksgiving meal for a family in need.

❤️ Prefer not to shop? Monetary donations are also welcome and will be used to purchase food items for the meal bags.

💵 All monetary donations can be dropped off with Grisel at the Food City Pharmacy.

🍗 If turkeys are not available due to supply, they may be substituted with turkey breast, ham, or chicken.

🛍️ Bags will be picked up daily by JCDA and packaged for delivery.

🚗 Deliveries will be made by Living Waters Hospice on November 22nd and 23rd.

‼️ Please note: Meals are not cooked. These are meal kits for families who would like to cook and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner in their own homes.

Our goal is to feed 30 families this season — let’s come together to share the spirit of Thanksgiving and support our community!
