Minneapolis Health Clinic: Promoting Health and Safety in Our Community.

At Minneapolis Health Clinic, we believe everyone deserves access to equitable, compassionate care. Since opening our doors on November 14, 2017, our mission has been to help remove barriers to care and support the overall well-being of our community.
We’re proud to be Health Home Certified by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and recognized by WBENC, NMSDC, and the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

One important public health issue we’ve helped address is gun safety. In partnership with the Minnesota Medical Association, VA, and Minnesota Department of Public Safety, we distributed free gun safety locks to our patients and community members.

During visits, we also talk about mental health, social factors, and safe gun storage—because safety at home matters. If a household ever feels unsafe or someone is experiencing suicidal or harmful thoughts, we share maps of local places (like police stations or gun ranges) where fi****ms can be safely stored.

Together, we’re working to keep our community healthy and safe.
