Slowing down allows our nervous systems to enter a rest & digest state. Something. Any of us might need the day after Thanksgiving.
Allow yourself time to slow down, restore, and rejuvenate with a guided forest bathing walk for 2 1/2 hours in the ecologically diverse surroundings of Littleton's South Platte Park. If you're unfamiliar, forest bathing is more than a slow walk in the woods. It is an intentional practice where you will be led by Certified Nature and Therapy Guides, Lyndsy and Sarah. They will introduce and lead you through a sequence of simple invitations rooted in nature.
This event is a special way to connect with family and friends. Take a moment to connect with the land and each other at the start of this holiday season.
Forest bathing walks are accessible to nearly any age and ability. Together we will wander up to a mile on level but uneven surfaces.Mountain Walks & Wellness guides forest bathing walks year round. No matter what the weather brings, Sarah and Lyndsy will provide a safe and hospitable experience. Walks are only cancelled for extreme weather situations, unsafe conditions, and lightning.
