February Spotlight Winner...is..Mathew Todd.

Mathew was nominated for a lot of reasons. He has a contagious smile, Insane consistency and visible growth. He has achieved stratospherical levels of muscle gain due to his effort and fighting spirit. Yoked and Stoked. He works super hard, he is strong, handsome, and can leg press 700 lbs easily. Sounds like you have some admires.
Mathew said he has been coming to the gym for about 4 years. His goals are to make the most of the body he's been given by God. Someone who is physically fit is capable of so much more than someone who isn't. He want's to be able to do those challenging things that a strong person can, and hopefully help people as result. He was inspired by his older brother. Mathew said he has always been an important role model to him and his consistent gym attendance is how he learned. Mathews words of advice are: "Major progress is found in the small victories along the way."
Very true Mathew. Keep being consistent, your encouraging others. Congratulations Mathew on being our Spotlight winner.

January Spot Light...

Jorge Sendejas. He was nominated for "el muyo guapo." and he is always friendly, and in a good mood. Dedicated. and puts the hard work in. George said he started working out at Sole to Soul about 5 years ago. His goals are to be a spiritual, emotional and physical leader to his son Nicolas. In this stage of his life of his fitness journey he wants to prove to himself he can do anything he sets himself to do. At 22 he says he was in the best shape of his life. A decade later he's been training to resemble that.

His words of encouragement..."Gosh don't fixate on the finish. Take a step today, another tomorrow. Overtime you will cover distance you couldn't image. Overall be kind and encouraging to yourself and others."

Did you know group fitness isn't just about physical exercise. Group fitness also is about mental health. Studies show the exercising in a group can reduce stress, improve mood and increase motivation. The combination is social interaction, friendly competition, and encouragement. Grab a friend and join a class. All can be done no matter your fitness level is.

December Spotlight....
Glenda Beierle is an inspiration to many. She was nominated because of her dedication. She faithfully shows up to class every week. She is a Warrior Woman! Glenda said she has been going to the gym for about 20 years. She started back when the Gym was in the Old Oasis building. Her goals are mainly maintenance, streanghth, weight and to have fun. And I think she does. Her favorite class was Zumba. She loves to dance because it doesn't feel like exercise. She loved to socialize with her Zumba sisters. She enjoys her Fit At Any Age Class with instructor Alea, who she said is "Awesome". Her inspiration to stay fit came from working in Physical Therapy. She found it rewarding to help others regain there streanghth and mobility through exercise. Her encouragement to you is..."Its never to late to start. Grab a friend. Begin your journey. Encourage each other and have fun." And at 78 Glenda looks to be having fun. Thank you Glenda and Congratulations on being our Spotlight winner.

Our November spotlight winner is Patty Best...She has been a member of Sole to Soul since the beginning of time. (15 years). Lol. She rarely has missed a 4:30 am Rise and Shine class in all those years. She was nominated for her dedication, support to others, integrity and being a great example. Her goals have been to focus on streanghth training and overall wellness. Her words of encouragement to others is.."You don't have to be perfect, just consistent. One day you'll look back and be so proud you didnt quit." And she lives by those words. Congratulations Patty. Keep inspiring others.
