An Infinite Mind was formed out of need for accurate information on all Dissociative Disorders, but especially DID. We believe strongly in promoting and showing the positive truth to dissociative identities. It is our hope that in the very near future, people will no longer have to hide. We are honored to welcome Gabriell Sacks, PhD as a Keynote Speaker at the 2026 Healing Together Conference.

Dr. Sacks brings a rare and deeply meaningful perspective to the Healing Together community — one that bridges professional expertise and lived experience. With a background in Special Education, she has worked as a music teacher, elementary school teacher, and behavior specialist consultant.

After spending more than two decades navigating the mental health system before receiving an accurate diagnosis of dissociative identity disorder (DID), Dr. Sacks now speaks openly and thoughtfully about healing, resilience, and the importance of trauma-informed, survivor-centered care. With the support of a skilled therapeutic relationship, she continues to move forward in her healing and reclaim her life.

At Healing Together 2026, Dr. Sacks’ keynote will offer honesty, insight, and hope — reminding us why accurate diagnosis, compassionate care, and community truly matter.

✨ Story Sharing Spotlight ✨ It’s estimated that 1–3% of the population has DID — and the vast majority are quietly leading typical lives, building careers, nurturing families, and contributing meaningfully to their communities.

This month’s Story Sharing reminder is powerful:
People with DID are not just surviving… they are thriving. They are resourceful, resilient, and often navigating life’s challenges with incredible strength and skill.

Take a moment to read about the many ways individuals with DID are living full, vibrant, impactful lives. Their stories deserve to be seen, honored, and celebrated. 🧡

Dissociation is more common than many people realize — and it’s a natural coping mechanism the brain uses to manage overwhelming stress or trauma. For some, it becomes a daily experience that affects memory, identity, emotions, and connection to the world around them.

At An Infinite Mind, our goal is to provide clear, trustworthy information so survivors, supporters, and clinicians can better understand what dissociation is — and what it is not.

If you’re curious about DID, dissociation, or the different types of dissociative disorders, we’ve created a resource page that breaks it down in simple, accessible terms.

Your understanding helps build a more informed and compassionate community. 🧡
