📢 Research Opportunity: Share Your Voice

A graduate student in clinical psychology at Columbia University is conducting a research study exploring treatment goals, “integration,” and safety in therapy for individuals with dissociative disorders, including DID and OSDD.

This study aims to better understand how treatment goals are defined and experienced — and how alignment (or misalignment) between individuals and therapists may impact trust, safety, and progress in therapy. A central focus is elevating lived experience and bringing greater visibility to perspectives that are often underrepresented in research.

📝 About the survey:
• Completely anonymous
• Takes ~10–15 minutes
• Trauma-informed (you may skip any questions)
• Open to adults (18+)
• Includes sections for both lived experience and professionals

🔗 Take the survey here:

Your voice can help shape a deeper understanding of dissociative disorders and improve future approaches to care.

If you have questions or feedback about the study, you can contact the researcher directly at: abwade24@gmail.com

Today is DID Awareness Day.

Today, we raise awareness for Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and the many individuals living with the impacts of complex trauma and dissociation.

DID is a trauma-related condition that develops as a survival response to overwhelming, often early, experiences. Yet despite growing research and understanding, stigma and misinformation persist.

At An Infinite Mind, we are committed to:
✨ Education rooted in clinical research
✨ Survivor-centered storytelling
✨ Reducing stigma through compassionate conversations

Awareness matters — because understanding creates safety.

Education creates access.
And community creates hope.

Today and every day, we stand with survivors.

At AIM, she leads volunteer engagement, strengthens accessibility efforts, and helps shape policies and community standards grounded in justice-centered principles.

Clinically, Jennifer works with children and adolescents using trauma-focused therapeutic models. She also brings lived experience of complex trauma to her advocacy — integrating professional expertise with embodied understanding in a way that strengthens our entire community.

Outside of her work, Jennifer is a Disney runner and dragon boat paddler who values resilience, teamwork, and endurance — qualities that also define her leadership.

We’re grateful for Jennifer’s steady, values-driven presence on the AIM Board. 🧡
