Studies show that sage (Salvia officinalis) can:

Tart cherry is a research-backed remedy for sleep, joint health, and inflammation!

Tart cherry (Prunus cerasus) contains polyphenols that scavenge free radicals and help regulate inflammatory markers. These compounds, especially anthocyanins and melatonin, may promote restful sleep, reduce oxidative stress, and support muscle and joint recovery.

In clinical research, tart cherry juice improved sleep duration and quality, especially in adults with insomnia. It has also shown promise for relieving post-exercise soreness and arthritis-related inflammation.

Tart cherry can be taken as juice, capsules, or extract. One study showed that drinking 480 mL (about 16 oz) of tart cherry juice daily for 12 weeks significantly reduced inflammation levels.

Note: Tart cherry may cause nausea, diarrhea, or GI upset in some individuals. It should not be used in place of conventional medical care or to delay treatment for existing health conditions.
