J&J Vaccine no longer recommended if Moderna or Pfizer vaccines are available. Consider getting boosted with Moderna or Pfizer if you started with a J&J.

The advisory committee voted in favor of language that calls the mRNA vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna the "preferred" options over Johnson & Johnson's.

This is the difference on a population level of being vaccinated and not. Gonzales county has a lower vaccination rate than San Diego where this data was gathered. Please get vaccinated and help end COVID-19!

I really enjoyed not having many sick kids to treat this last winter but flu, RSV, and many other viruses are making a comeback. Keep emphasizing hand hygiene and other common sense precautions to your kids.

The CDC urges more testing for RSV among patients presenting with acute respiratory illness who test negative for SARS-CoV-2. RSV is just one of the viruses reemerging as COVID restrictions lift.

It's telling when vaccine manufacturers are putting a lot of time and effort to ensure efficacy or fortify their vaccines. If we can't crush COVID quickly enough we will be dealing with it's variants for years.

If you're hesitant to get vaccinated please speak with a healthcare provider you trust that can help you understand how the vaccines work and put your fears to rest.

I have nursing home patients who are continuing to struggle with the lockdown requirements in place; their mental and physical health are suffering. The faster we ALL get protected, the sooner their families can return to normal visiting practices and additional healthcare services will return to full strength in nursing homes.

Please try to see the bigger picture. Until we come together and all get vaccinated, COVID still continue to hang over us. Texas still has about 4,000 new cases daily and about 100 people are still dying every day. We can do better!
