We Did It Again!

Saint James family, our generosity continues to shine! Today we delivered 269 lbs of food to Goochland Cares — pushing our total to 857 lbs so far!

Thank you to everyone who gives so faithfully. Every can, every box, every donation is helping a family in need. God is truly using our church to make a difference in our community.

Our food drive will continue the rest of this month. Let’s continue serving, giving, and showing Christ’s love in action. ❤️

Did anyone see the Rotary Club of Goochland at Food Lion this weekend? THANK YOU to their team members, who collected over 1,600 lbs of food!!!

Saturday, Nov 15th we had the privilege of supporting Goochland Cares by helping replenish their food pantry — and together, we filled the food drive with 1,621 pounds of food!

A huge thank-you to our members and community partners whose generosity made this possible. Every can, every box, and every contribution helps a neighbor in need.

Bethlehem Walk is a unique event that attracts thousands of peoples from the area to participate and see a re-enactment of Bethlehem at Jesus' birth. A wonderful donation of makeup and skincare for the ladies in our Emergency Housing and Sexual and Domestic Violence programs from MARY KAY rep, Delores! These items are a nice extra for clients experiencing crisis, helping them regain a sense of self and confidence as they rebuild!

Food continues to come in from around the Goochland community like our friends at St. James Baptist Church - Goochland. Thank you for feeding your neighbors!

Week 2 is in the books! 🙌 This past Monday, 322 pounds of food were delivered to Goochland CARES Food Pantry thanks to the continued support of our church family.

We’re so grateful for everyone who has brought in donations so far—your efforts are making a real difference in our community.

We’ll keep collecting every Sunday in November, so there’s still time to bring your items and help us keep the blessings going!

Reminder: C&F Bank Food Drive is underway! 🙌🏾 In partnership with GoochlandCares, we're collecting food and household items for our neighbors in need. 🫱🏿‍🫲🏽

*Most Needed Items:*
- *Breakfast Essentials*: Cereal, oatmeal, and baking supplies
- *Pantry Staples*: Canned goods (meats, fruits, beans, soups), pasta sauce, and cooking oils
- *Household Must-Haves*: Toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, and all-purpose cleaners
- *Personal Care Items*: Shampoo, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste
