Today, I was speaking with the daughter of one of our clients. One of our caregivers who has been in the home for a couple of months noticed some changes in the client’s behavior and level of confusion. These shifts were not typical for her age or her existing neurological condition.

Our caregiver recognized the signs as a possible ailment, and encouraged the family to have her evaluated. Testing later confirmed the infection that the caregiver suspected, and treatment was started right away.

Moments like this are a reminder that experience, attention to detail, and true caregiving skills make a real difference. Quality care isn’t just about being present. It’s about noticing what others might miss and acting early enough to protect someone’s health and independence.

Just finished a productive visit with a client in Buckeye, AZ, and afterward we stopped by Adam’s Natural Meats to pick up some bison meat. It was a great experience and a nice way to wrap up the day.
