When your baby wants to nurse for hours straight, resist the urge to panic. This is a growth spurt. Your baby is literally telling your body to make more milk. It's uncomfortable but it's temporary and it means everything is working perfectly.

Bottle refusal isn't cute or a sign of anything special. It's usually fixable. And strong bonding isn't dependent on refusing bottles. You can have deep connection AND successful bottle feeding. Both are possible.

Yes, paced bottle feeding takes a little longer. But those extra minutes prevent confusion between breast and bottle, prevent overfeeding, and support proper development. It's worth it.
