Struggling with squat depth, hip pinching, or shifting to one side? 👀
It might not be your form — it might be your hip internal rotation.

This week’s 2 Tip Tuesday is all about unlocking smoother, stronger squats:

1️⃣ Test Your Hip IR at Home
Use the simple wall test to see if one side is tighter or moves less. Quick, easy, eye-opening.

2️⃣ Fix It With These Drills
90/90 hip rotations • Seated good mornings • Banded hip IR
Add them to your warm-up and watch your squat clean up fast. 🔥

Better hip IR = deeper squats, less pinching, more power.
Whether you’re lifting heavy, doing WODs, or just want to move better — this one’s for you.

Need help dialing this in? Come see us at Continuous Motion PT. 💪

💧Your Pelvic Floor Might Be Thirsty!
Hydration isn’t just about avoiding headaches — it’s about keeping every muscle in your body (yep, even your pelvic floor) working properly.

When you’re dehydrated, your urine becomes more concentrated, irritating your bladder and making urgency or leaks worse 🚽
Too little water can also lead to constipation, which adds pressure on your pelvic floor over time 🍑

💦 How much should you drink?
➡️ Aim for about 0.5–0.7 oz of water per pound of bodyweight per day (that’s roughly 60–85 oz for a 120 lb person).
➡️ Add 1–2 servings of electrolytes (around 1000mg sodium, 200mg potassium, 60mg magnesium) daily — especially if you’re sweating, training, or live in our Arizona heat 🧂☀️

Balanced hydration = happy bladder + strong pelvic floor 🙌

✨ If you’re struggling with leaks, urgency, or pelvic pressure, your hydration habits might be part of the puzzle — and we can help you fix the full picture.

🔥 Think your hip flexors are tight? More often, they are actually weak.

Instead of endlessly stretching, focus on the strength-to-length principle — training the muscle through its full range of motion so it can function through that range.

Try 3 rounds of 3:

1️⃣ Eccentric hip flexor lowers – build control through length 🕰️
2️⃣ Tempo rear-leg elevated split squats – strengthen deep hip positions 🦵
3️⃣ Kettlebell marches – develop stability and endurance at end range 🏋️‍♀️

Strong hips don’t just move better — they feel better. Train for mobility that lasts 💪

🦵 Deep squats = happier hips + knees

Two simple tweaks can change everything:
1️⃣ Elevate your heels for easier, safer depth
2️⃣ Pause 3–5 seconds at the bottom to build real control

More depth + more stability = stronger, pain-free joints that keep you moving.
