The toddler trenches nearly took me out, but I pulled myself back upšŖ
For nearly a year, my daughter stopped sleeping through the night and I was in survival mode. I felt worse than I did newly postpartum.
I was running on 4 hours of sleep most days, drinking lots of caffeine, my workouts slowed due to chronic fatigue, my adrenals crashed, mental health declined, had sudden weight gain, and my PCOS symptoms flared like I was a teenager again.
Motherhood had to come first and thatās okay. I made a promise to myself that I would prioritize myself and get my health back on track as soon as I could, which is exactly what I did starting in Jan 2025.
Now, Iām down almost 25 lbs, but more importantly my hormones are more balanced, I get 8 hours of sleep and feel well rested most days, my mental health is better, PCOS symptoms are managed, and Iām a better mom and partner to my fiancĆ©.
To all my struggling moms, I see you.
If youāre ready to feel like yourself again, letās chat.
