Sled pushes and pulls = stronger, more resilient knees.

This exercise builds strength through quads, glutes, hamstrings, and core, making it a great tool in rehab and performance training.

Simple. Effective. Hard work. 💪

Why It Works Wednesday

Your physical therapist may use hands-on care to help some people move with less stiffness or discomfort. This is often paired with guided movement.
✅ Tip: Hands-on care supports movement, it doesn’t replace it.

Why It Works Wednesday

Your physical therapist looks at how the spine, muscles, and movement patterns may be linked to ongoing back pain. This helps guide care based on symptoms rather than guesswork.

Sponsor shout out: Joints in Motion Physical Therapy & Wellness

We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support of Joints in Motion a long-time sponsor of Without Limits and a true partner in keeping our team healthy and strong.

Joints in Motion is a physical therapist-owned outpatient orthopedic clinic with locations in West Ashley, Mount Pleasant and Goose Creek. Their team treats individuals with a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, always guided by a simple but powerful philosophy: treat the individual, not just the condition. Through expert manual therapy, movement science, and a focus on each patient’s unique goals, they help people return to the activities they love - and perform at their best.

In 2020, they launched RUNHAB, a program designed specifically for runners. RUNHAB supports both new and experienced runners by improving form and training strategies, helping injured runners return safely to the road/track, and promoting a strong, healthy running community.

Through a detailed interview process, mobility and stability screening, video gait analysis, and a comprehensive, individualized plan, RUNHAB identifies inefficiencies and injury risks before they become bigger problems. Their team is specially trained to assist with injury prevention, sports performance, and overall wellness — making them an invaluable resource for our athletes.

We are thankful for their long-standing partnership and their commitment to helping the Without Limits community stay healthy, resilient, and ready to chase big goals.

Why It Works Wednesday

Pain, stiffness, or deconditioning can change how people move during activity. Your physical therapist assesses patterns to guide care focused on comfort and tolerance.
✅ Tip: The goal is easier movement, not perfect form.
