If your food allowance card is not currently working, this may be due to CMS requirements related to Medicare Advantage plans.
Medicare Advantage plans now require a Verification of Chronic Condition (VCC) form to be completed and signed by your doctor within 60 days of your plan start date.
Once your doctor submits the VCC form to your insurance carrier, the food allowance benefit can be activated.
