CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 🔥

She didn’t start confident.

She began at a level of 3 out of 10… unsure, frustrated, and wondering if this would be another thing that didn’t work.

Fast forward 👇

➡️ 40 lbs down (slow and steady)
➡️ More energy, less daily pain
➡️ Down 1–2 clothing sizes
➡️ Showing up with confidence she didn’t have before

But here’s the part most people miss…

This wasn’t just physical.

She learned how to:

✔️ Stay consistent—even on busy days
✔️ Bounce back without guilt
✔️ Hold herself accountable (even ONLINE)
✔️ Give herself grace and keep moving forward

There were moments she wanted to quit.

That’s real.

But she didn’t… because she realized something powerful:
“Slow and steady commitment makes it happen.”

Now she’s in YEAR TWO—
Not chasing a number… but building a healthier life she can actually maintain.

Well… YESS.

At Train4Living, our top recommendation for stress relief is simple:

🥁 EXERCISE 🥁

🏃‍♂️🏋️‍♂️

There’s nothing like channeling stress into a workout—weights, cardio, or a punching bag.

That post-workout “high”? That’s serotonin and endorphins doing their job.

If you can’t get a workout in right away, try this:

➡️ Yoga or meditation
➡️ Journaling or talking it out
➡️ Take a break and reset
➡️ Reduce caffeine

What to avoid:

❌ Stress eating
❌ Alcohol/self-medicating
❌ Isolation

Stress can snowball fast.

Recognize it early.

Have a plan.

Take control before it takes control of you.

Some stress is actually good.

It triggers adrenaline, keeps you alert, and sharpens your instincts.

But when stress sticks around too long…

that’s when your body starts paying the price.

Chronic stress can lead to:

1. High blood pressure
2. Increased risk of heart attack and stroke
3. Weakened immune system
4. Low libido
5. Irritability, brain fog, mood swings
6. Skin issues (acne, hair loss)
7. Digestive problems (heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea)

These are just a few of the long-term effects.

The first step?
Recognize the pattern.

The next step?
Do something about it.

April is Stress Awareness Month.

But let’s be real…

Most people don’t realize how much stress is actually running their life.

They just feel:

Tired all the time
Snappy for no reason
Unmotivated
“Off”… but can’t explain why

👉 That’s not random. That’s stress.

Here’s what too much stress can look like:

😴 Trouble sleeping… or sleeping too much
🤯 Constant headaches
🤢 Gut issues / digestion problems
😰 Anxiety or depression

And the problem?

Most people ignore it…

Or try to “push through it”

Until it starts affecting their health, their energy, and their quality of life.

Awareness is step one.

Next post—we’ll break down what stress is actually doing to your body (and how to start taking control of it).

Just take a moment and imagine:

Where do you want to be six months from now?

What does your body look like and how does it perform?

What's your new mindset?

How much energy do you have?

When you visualize where you want to go, you're more likely to feel motivated and take action.

Action beats intention every day of the week.

Your goals are important to us! We help you build consistency in your training, and that's what drives results. All you have to do is wake up, show up, and we'll take care of the rest.

Omega 3s vs. Omega 6s
👀👀

Most of us consume a variety and ample amount of Omega 6 fatty acids in our average diet.

These fats allow us to reduce inflammation, decrease blood clotting, lower risk of chronic disease and boost our immune systems (Source: Precision Nutrition and Acefitness.org) Nuts, seeds and certain oils (like flaxseed & h**p) are high in Omega 6.
🌰🥜

We don't always consume a healthy amount of Omega 3 fatty acids, found in flax and fish.

These fats improve our cardiovascular health and keep blood pressure lower as well.
📉📉

It is important to balance these 2 nutrients, as not getting enough Omega 3 fats can result in negative health risks.
