Train4Living Veteran-owned coaching. Helping busy adults drop 10–20 lbs without fad diets or endless cardio.

Train4Living is an online and mobile personal training unit, headquartered in the Charleston, SC area. Our mission is to work with active military, veterans and first responders to keep them fit for the front lines. We are a veteran and minority owned family business that reaches our clients globally through our T4L Anywhere program, and locally in clients’ homes. As highly qualified & certified personal trainers, we provide a thorough assessment of each client to determine their needs and goals. We then create and deliver workout programs through our innovative app and measure progress consistently to ensure success toward their specific goal. For local clients, we deliver the workout programs in person, in our clients’ homes, with equipment we provide. Owners Ricardo & Joyce Antonetty founded Train4Living in order to serve those that serve us daily. Their passion for health and fitness inspired them to find an innovative and convenient way to reach anyone, anywhere. They continually educate themselves on the latest information to help get their clients the best results, whether the goals are to prepare for a readiness test, lose weight, get stronger or simply move better.

🎉 **Happy Birthday to Coach Ricardo!** 🎉

Today we celebrate the man who shows up for everyone else — our veterans, our busy parents, our hard-working professionals — with the same fire, loyalty, and heart he brought to the Marine Corps.

But more than anything, today is about family.
The family he and Joyce blended together.
And the family they built through Train4Living.

Because if you’ve ever trained with him, talked with him, or even just been encouraged by one of his messages… YOU know he treats every single one of us like we matter. Like we’re part of something bigger. Like we’re capable of far more than we give ourselves credit for.

Today is Giving Tuesday — a day built around service, community, and showing up for one another.

Grilled Pineapple, Steak & Rice Meal Prep
Servings: 4
Prep Time: 30 Minutes
Cook Time: 15 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 Lb Flank Steak, Chopped
1 1/2 Cups Pineapple
2 Cups Brown Rice (Uncooked)
1/2 Cup Sugar-Free Teriyaki Marinade
Salt and Pepper, To Taste
Optional Garnish:
Green Onions, Sliced
Sesame Seeds

Directions:
For this recipe, you'll need:

• Grill
• Medium Pot
• Mixing Spoon
• Cutting Board
• Steak Knife
• Gallon Ziplock Bag
• 4 Meal Prep Containers

1. Add the chopped steak and teriyaki marinade to a ziplock bag. Seal it up and let it marinate for 30 minutes.

2. While your steak is marinating, prep the pineapple. If you're using fresh pineapple, slice it into spears or rings (whatever's easier for you). If you're using canned pineapple, the rings work perfectly for grilling.

3. Start cooking the brown rice according to the package directions.

4. After the steak has finished marinating, remove it from the bag and season with salt and pepper to taste.

5. Grill the steak to your desired doneness. For medium rare, cook until it reaches 130°F, or for medium, cook until it reaches 140°F. Use a meat thermometer to be sure.

6. Grill the pineapple for 2-3 minutes per side, until it's lightly caramelized and has those beautiful grill marks.

7. Let the steak rest for 10 minutes before slicing it into strips or cubes. While it's resting, you can finish up everything else.

8. Portion the cooked rice and grilled pineapple into 4 meal prep containers. Make sure to divide everything evenly. Top each bowl with the grilled steak afterward.

9. Garnish each dish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if you want that extra pop of flavor and crunch.

Protein Pumpkin Spice Cookies🎃🍪 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Pumpkin Cookie Ingredients
Yields: 24

1. 1 cup almond butter
2. 1/4 cup almond flour
3. 1 cup 1st Phorm Pumpkin Spice Latte Level 1 Protein
4. 1 large egg
5. 1/3 cup honey
6. 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
7. 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
8. 1/2 tsp baking soda
MACROS: 5 Fat | 5 Protein | 5 Carbs
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Frosting ingredients:
1. 8 ounces Cream Cheese
2. 1 stick or 8 tablespoons Grassfed butter
3. 1/4 cup Honey
4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Cookie Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl mix together the wet ingredients. In a separate bowl mix together the dry ingredients. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet.
3. Batter is sticky! Use a TABLESPOON to drop batter 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet (use parchment paper). Bake for 10-11 mins. Cookies should be puffy. Let cool. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🔑 DO NOT OVERCOOK: set a timer to 5 mins check them, and set again for another 3 mins. Not done? Set for another 2 mins (this is what I do!)

If you’ve been “doing everything right”… but still not seeing progress, read this.

A lot of our clients come to us saying the same thing:

"I’m working out. I’m eating better. I’m trying… but nothing is changing.”

If that hits home, here are three things that might be holding you back — and they’re the ones nobody ever talks about:

1. You’re exhausted, but you don’t slow down

You’re grinding through work.
Taking care of everyone else.

Lack of sleep wrecks progress — cravings go up, motivation goes down, and your body holds on to fat like it’s armor.
