Last Friday, January 30th, the members of Pequea Valley Fire Department took the evening off for our annual membership appreciation banquet. We would like to thank Christiana Fire Company - Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Columbia Borough Fire Department Station 80, and New Holland Ambulance for covering our area so the members could enjoy the evening off.

This years banquet was held at The Barn at Paradise Station with catering done by Welsh Mountain Catering. The event started with a social hour for guests to mingle followed by dinner, awards and an "auction". Each member of the company was given play money with the amount based on activity level and accomplishments achieved in 2025 to "spend" in the auction to win prizes.

We would like to thank all of the the business sponsors who made the evening possible by having all auction items donated, but we would like to give a shout out to three specific businesses who made very sizable donations.

Leacock Paving and Zook's Homemade Chicken Pies LLC whose made a cash donation to help cover the cost of the venue, meal and several auction items.

Neighbors and Friends,

Pequea Valley Fire Department is proud to continue serving our community with fast, reliable, and compassionate emergency medical care. As we prepare for the year ahead, we are launching our 2026 Ambulance Subscription Program, and we invite you to consider enrolling.

Your subscription helps protect your household from unexpected ambulance costs while directly supporting the department. Subscribers receive coverage for medically-necessary ambulance transports provided by PVFD, depending on which tier you select, either reducing or eliminating out-of-pocket expenses that insurance may not cover.

Why Subscribe?

- Peace of mind during medical emergencies
- Reduced or no additional billing after insurance depending on tier selected
- Direct support for your community’s emergency responders
- Helps fund lifesaving equipment, training, and readiness

If you live in our response area for EMS, you should have recently received or will shortly receive your subscription form in the mail. Completing and returning it is quick and simple—and your support truly makes a difference.

Not sure if you live in our primary response area? Our EMS services cover all of Leacock and Paradise Township. Additionally, we cover the eastern portion of East Lampeter Township and a handful of addresses in the south west portion of Upper Leacock Township. Feel free to call the station if you are seeking clarification and one of our staff members will be able to confirm with you if you do or not.

**New this year - Pay Online!** Visit the link below to see how you can pay online!

Feel free to visit our website for further information about the program at https://www.pvfd40.com/content/subscription/

If you have any questions about the program, please contact us at the station at 717-768-3869 ext 1.

Thank you for allowing us to serve you. Together, we will keep Pequea Valley safe, prepared, and strong.
