Today we set aside to celebrate Irish-American Heritage and St. Patrick. We decided to bring the traditional Irish Pub to Gorham House! Complete with Guinness and Chef's creation, Irish Pub potato skins with corned beef hash, soft warm pretzels with cheese dip. Needless to say, it was a smash! Erin Go Bragh!☘️

Made with love! The Crafters Corner is our signature craft workshop. Every month, we create projects based on a theme. March is Irish Heritage month, and to celebrate, we created Irish Fairy Lanterns from mason jars, peat moss and fairy decor. Our first group did an outstanding job, and these pictures are proof.

We kicked off our first meeting of The Knitting Factory, a resident-led knitting club, on Saturday! We shared our love of knitting and told a few yarns about it. As we move forward, we're excited to help out knitters of all skill levels and plan on making awesome stuff for ourselves and our neighbors - including various local charities. Stay tuned!

We are pleased to announce that Chris is the recipient of the 2026 Cintas CAPE Award. This recognition is a testament to his dedication and hard work! The C.A.P.E. Award, Cintas Cleaning to Advance the Patient Experience, recognizes Environmental Services (EVS) technicians in acute or long-term care facilities who are at the frontline of patient care, providing clean and safe facilities for healthcare workers, patients, and visitors across the country. The public can nominate an EVS superhero technician who might not wear a cape, but plays a critical role in cleaning and sanitizing.

Celebrating Excellence at Gorham House!

We are proud to recognize our very own Christavao as the recipient of the CINTAS C.A.P.E. Award at Gorham House. The ceremony was attended by residents, families, team members, and the children from our on-site preschool, all coming together to celebrate Chris and the meaningful impact he has on daily life in our community.

Chris is deeply valued by our residents and highly respected by our team. Moments like this are a powerful reminder of the importance of recognizing those who quietly make a difference every day. A heartfelt thank you to the CINTAS team for organizing such a thoughtful celebration.
