EMDR isn’t always what people expect. It can look gentle, grounding, and even a little playful. 🐾✨

Today, Shoshi the therapy dog helped us demonstrate what EMDR can look like in session. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy approach that helps the brain process difficult experiences, reduce distress, and create space for healing.

Healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy. Sometimes it can include safety, connection, and a wagging tail. 🤍
