Ryan’s Place is honored to announce Launa Leftwich as our new President & CEO.

Launa joins us from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County, where she served as Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships. In that role, she built strong community relationships and helped expand opportunities for youth and families across our region. Her deep commitment to service and her ability to connect with people make her a beautiful fit for Ryan’s Place.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Aileac Deegan for more than 20 years of extraordinary leadership. Her compassion, dedication, and unwavering care for grieving children and families have shaped Ryan’s Place in profound ways. Her legacy will continue to be felt in every family we serve.

Please join us in warmly welcoming Launa to Ryan’s Place. We are grateful for what has been and hopeful for what is ahead. 💚

At Ryan’s Place, every space is created with purpose. 💛

During our group nights, each room is intentionally designed to support children and families as they navigate their grief journey…whether through art, play, conversation, or quiet connection.

From creative expression at the table, to shared moments in our activity spaces, to movement and release in our sensory room…healing looks different for everyone, and we honor that.

These moments may look simple, but they are powerful steps toward understanding, connection, and hope 💙

Your time, interest, and support mean so much to us and to the families we serve.

Thank you, The Library Club, for spending part of your day with us. We’re grateful for your kindness and community spirit!
