Earlier this week, we honored our residents with March birthdays during a special party complete with delicious cake and plenty of smiles. We’ve had some truly special celebrations this month, and we loved making each resident feel extra special on their big day.

We can’t wait to celebrate even more birthdays and memorable moments in the months ahead — because there’s always a special day happening here at Evergreen Place! 💙

Thelma A. Schrock Homestead Adult Day Services is hosting an free Lunch & Learn, designed especially for caregivers looking for support, encouragement, and practical resources.

During the first half, we will present an informational seminar titled “Helping Caregivers Thrive: Recognizing Needs and Building Support.” The second half will include lunch followed by a guided tour of The Homestead.

To support caregivers during the program, The Homestead will be available as a place of respite for your loved one while you attend the seminar. Please arrive at 10:30 a.m. for check-in at 1904 S. 15th St. Goshen, IN 46526.

Call Kerry Ann Sandsmark at (574) 537-4181 to RSVP by April 22. Seminar and lunch will be held in the Greencroft Goshen Community Center.

NO JOKE! A few weeks ago, members of our Healthcare team took a trip to Fort Wayne to try something new—learning how to play curling!

It was a great opportunity to step outside the daily routine, build teamwork, and share some laughs while picking up a new skill. This photo captures just a bit of the fun as our team joined in on the action!
