Yesterday, Greencroft Goshen team members and residents came together for a fun and lively Live Bake Sale Auction — all to support our Employee Benevolent Fund! From homemade treats to friendly bidding battles, it was a heartwarming reminder of how our community shows up for one another.

We’re thrilled to introduce our new Monthly Volunteer Spotlight, a way to celebrate the incredible individuals who give their time, talents, and hearts to Greencroft Goshen. Each month, we’ll honor one of our amazing volunteers and share a bit about the meaningful work they do across campus.

This month, we’re shining a light on Roger Richard.
Roger is a dedicated member of the Evergreen Singers and a volunteer Sunday morning worship leader. He shares his gift of music through choral programs for residents in Assisted Living, Healthcare, and the wider Goshen community.

Roger says, “My hope is to encourage all of us through our hurts, hopes, and losses. I believe that music is grief’s best hope.” One of his favorite quotes is: “Music is for a lifetime, but a lifetime is not enough for music.”

Through song, Roger brings comfort, connection, and joy to so many—and we are incredibly grateful for his uplifting presence. 🎶💛

Even as the seasons change and the flowers begin to fade, the Memorial Garden near our Community Center at Greencroft Goshen remains a beautiful and peaceful space to pause, reflect, and remember. 🍂

It’s a quiet place to pray, to honor those we love, and to find comfort in the stillness that this time of year brings. No matter the season, the Memorial Garden continues to remind us of the lasting beauty of love and memory. 💚

Greencroft Goshen is pleased to announce that Kim Harden has joined our organization as Community Vice President.

Kim brings deep expertise and a proven track record of leadership, with a career spanning senior living operations, sales and marketing, and consulting. She has led complex projects and large teams in faith-based, nonprofit senior living organizations, aligning her work with Greencroft’s mission of compassion and service.

In this role, Kim will oversee all aspects of community operations, with a focus on enhancing the resident experience, supporting staff, and driving continued growth and engagement across our independent, assisted, and skilled living options.

Her background includes successful leadership roles at The Outlook at Windhaven, Parkway Village, and as a marketing and sales advisor for senior living communities nationwide. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is a certified Assisted Living Administrator.

We look forward to Kim's collaborative leadership as we sustain Greencroft Goshen as a vibrant and welcoming community for older adults.

Our assisted living residents at Evergreen Place had a blast a few days ago during a lively Beach Ball Kick activity! 🏐 From dribbling to volleyball, everyone got moving and enjoyed some friendly fun — all while improving hand, eye, and foot coordination.

It’s always great to see so many smiles and laughter filling the room! 💛
