Last week at the Thelma A. Schrock Homestead Adult Day Services, participants enjoyed one of their favorite traditions—the Life Stories Tea Party! Held twice a month so everyone has a chance to take part, this special gathering invites participants to share photos, memories, and meaningful moments from their lives.

It’s more than just tea and conversation—it’s a beautiful opportunity to bond, connect, and celebrate each person’s unique story. The laughter, reflection, and friendships that grow from these moments are what make days at the Homestead so special.

The other day, our healthcare resident Cindy marked not just one special occasion—but two! She celebrated her birthday and her wedding anniversary with Vern. It was such a wonderful time honoring Cindy and the beautiful love story she and Vern share. Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to celebrate life’s milestones together as a community. 💕

Love was truly in the air at Evergreen Place at Greencroft Goshen this Valentine’s weekend! 💖

Our celebration kicked off with cookie decorating, where residents had a blast using red frosting, colorful sprinkles, and plenty of love to create sweet treats. Afterward, some of our ladies enjoyed special makeovers, complete with a relaxing skin-care experience that left everyone glowing. We wrapped up the festivities with a wonderful Valentine’s party filled with delicious food, joyful smiles, and meaningful moments shared together.

One especially touching surprise came when Laura Mosier read the beautiful words from 1 Corinthians 13 about love being patient and kind—such a heartfelt reminder of what this season is all about. We even shared a few lighthearted laughs with some classic Valentine’s dad jokes along the way! It was a weekend full of connection, celebration, and memories we’ll cherish. ❤️
