Welcome to Bashor, Chaplain Naun Lucoer Cerrato!

We are excited to welcome Naun Lucoer Cerrato as the new Chaplain at Bashor Children’s Home. A bilingual author, speaker, and community advocate with deep roots in Elkhart, Naun brings a strong passion for faith, service, and supporting youth.

Naun is eager to use the gifts God has given him to further Bashor’s mission of providing care, hope, and healing for children and families. With a background in peace studies, nonprofit leadership, and community advocacy, he is committed to extending love, dignity, and opportunity to the youth we serve.

We are grateful to have Naun join the Bashor family and look forward to the impact he will make on our campus and community.

This afternoon, we joined Lacasa, Inc. and our partners at Oaklawn Psychiatric Center for the ribbon cutting of the new Lakeview Drive Apartments in Goshen, a project that represents hope, stability, and a brighter future for so many.

As Bashor Children’s Home, we are honored to provide services in one of the new buildings, supporting youth who are aging out of foster care. These young adults deserve more than a place to stay, they deserve the guidance, safety, and opportunity needed to build a strong foundation for adulthood. This new space allows us to walk alongside them as they take those first important steps toward independence.

We’re deeply thankful for LaCasa’s vision, for Oaklawn’s partnership, and for the support of the Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority and the The City of Goshen, Indiana

Together, we are creating a community where every person, especially our most vulnerable, has a chance to thrive.
