Meet the Yoder-Culp Team!

A native of neighboring LaGrange County, Amy is a graduate of Bethany Christian High School and Hesston College, Kansas. She has called Goshen home since 1999. Amy is married and has two sons.

Amy joined Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in 2012. She hopes whether she is answering the phone or processing paperwork behind the scenes, she can be of service to families during difficult times.

Grief is not linear. Every person is unique in the way he or she handles the loss of a loved one. Here are some ways to help cope with the loss of a loved one this holiday season. 🎄

1. Talk About Your Loved One:
By allowing yourself and others to share stories and memories about your loved one, you can find connection to their life while beginning the process of adjusting to the holidays without them by your side.

2. Journal:
Instead of bottling up what you’re feeling and thinking, try writing in a journal or a letter to your loved one.

3. Dig Up the Old Photos:
Ask family members to find photos; maybe even start a shared digital album and ask friends and family to contribute photos.

4. Watch Something They Loved:
Partaking in activities like watching a movie or playing a game they liked can help you feel closer to them when they are no longer there.
