After more than 15 years providing pet food, medications, and veterinary assistance, Hardy’s Friends is retiring. We are beyond grateful to the many individuals, families and organizations which provided the support that allowed us to do the work we have been so happy to do. We wish all of the pets and their owners in Gouldsboro and Winter Harbor good health and full bowls!

We encourage anyone willing to continue supporting pets in need to contribute to The Ark, 60 Barber Lane, P.O. Box 276, Cherryfield, ME 04622.

We just got this sweet girl in as a stray. She was found on the Station Road in Jonesboro near the quarry last Friday, August 26th. Please share so we can hopefully find her family.

We are so grateful to the staff and customers at Winter Harbor Food Service who supported their March Shamrock fundraiser. Today we received a check for $603 to help Winter Harbor and Gouldsboro residents with pet food and veterinary help. We can’t thank you all enough.

This week, we have kicked off our annual fundraiser for Hardy’s Friends! Buy a shamrock and help meet the basic needs of our furry friends. Shamrocks are for sale at the register, for a cash donation, during the month of March. Our goal is to reach $500.00, so please donate generously!!

The Gouldsboro Police brought a Bullmastiff to Hardy's House late this morning. The dog was found on Route 1 near the Guzzle. If this is your dog, or you know who the dog belongs to, please call the Gouldsboro Police or Hardy's Friends at 963-7444.

This beautiful girl was located on West Bay Road at 4pm. Let’s get her home to her family.
