Its a beautiful day to be outside and its so important to get all the fresh air you can! Residents enjoyed the outdoors with music and bubbles. There was so much peace felt on this beautiful day 🌞😊🩷!

Thank you to Frudenthal Hospice, Dennis, Stephanie and gang for officiating a memorial ceremony for the staff and residents to remember Josh. His wife, mother in law and friends joined us and it was nice to share stories of Josh's infectious personality and kind soul. Also thank you to Martin Brothers for donating chips and cheese cake for after memorial food and to Atchison Senior Village for sending staff bundt cakes letting us know you are thinking of us. We are so lucky to have all your support ❤️. We are still incredibly sad at the loss of Josh.

Josh became part of the GCC family three years ago. He was a dietary cook and was promoted to dietary supervisor just last last year. He was always so kind and loving to the residents, their families and fellow staff members. We are all mourning the loss of this kind and loving man. Josh was kind enough to share his fire breathing talent with residents and staff of GCC while he was here. Our GCC family is heart broken, please keep everyone including his wife, close friends, residents and coworkers in your thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace 🙏.

We not only have the best residents, but we truly have the best families too! Barb and her daughter Holly set up a "dirty soda" table for all the staff to enjoy last week! The staff really enjoyed this and it was such a great treat too! Thank you Holly Todd Fisher, you and your mama are amazing! We really appreciated this! We love you guys 🩷
