Meet the Doctor
In October of 2014, Dr. Alex Helmich graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. While at Palmer, he was nominated for the Clinical Excellence Award for his “quality of patient care, leadership potential, knowledge, skills, and service to his patients, the College, and the chiropractic profession.” He also had the opportunity to travel to Fiji and provide chiropractic care to the people of Fiji. Prior to Palmer, he completed his undergraduate studies at Wartburg College. In February of 2015, he opened Graettinger Chiropractic Clinic.
Dr. Alex's wife, Megan, started working at the clinic in the summer of 2017. They have a daughter, McKinley and a son, Max. They enjoy spending time together as a family, golfing, and doing home-improvement projects. Alex is also very passionate about coaching wrestling. Currently, he is the head wrestling coach for the Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans.
Dr. Alex aspires to help the community attain a better quality of life through chiropractic care. He looks forward to serving the community for many years to come.
