This year, we did something a little different… and we couldn’t be more proud. ❤️🎄

Instead of a typical gift exchange, our team all agreed on one thing: let’s adopt a family. And that’s exactly what we did.

Together, we were able to provide all of the Christmas gifts for a family with five kids — plus a few special gifts for mom, who’s clearly leading the pack and making it all happen every day. 💪💕 There’s something so powerful about coming together to make sure a family feels supported, seen, and celebrated during the holidays.

We’re also incredibly grateful for the support of Mel's Charities, who helped us make all of these wishes come true. 🎁✨ Thank you for partnering with us to spread joy in such a meaningful way!

We’re back in the office and easing into the week with full hearts! 💚✨

We wanted to share a few pictures of our participants as they prepared for Christmas break — wrapping up projects, finishing up last-minute details, and getting ready for some well-deserved time to rest, celebrate, and make memories. There’s something so special about this time of year: the excitement in the air, the kindness people show, and the little moments that remind us what community is all about. 🎄❤️

Yesterday was our Employee Celebration Day and it was an absolute BLAST! 🎉💚

We had a very special (and slightly mischievous 😉) visit from the Grinch himself… and even better — Max came along too! 🐾❤️ Needless to say, there were plenty of laughs, smiles, and holiday cheer going around.

It truly was the perfect day to celebrate all the hard work, dedication, and heart our team brings every single day. We’re so proud of what we accomplish together — and so grateful for each of you! ✨👏

This past weekend we headed to the Milwaukee Domes for a Recreation event—and it was such a great time! 🌿✨🌺

The Domes were beautifully decorated, full of color, greenery, and all the cozy, magical vibes. Every corner felt like a photo opportunity… and I couldn’t resist snapping a few pictures of our group while we were there. 📸

And can we talk about how distinguished they look?! 😄👏 Seriously—like a classy crew strolling through a tropical paradise!

Thanks for a wonderful outing and all the laughs along the way. If you haven’t visited the Domes lately, add it to your list—so much to see and enjoy! 💚

✨ Last night at Illuminate Ozaukee in Cedarburg, something happened that genuinely touched our hearts — and we just had to share it.

Our group was volunteering, welcoming cars as they pulled in, when one family rolled up that instantly made us smile. Inside the car were adorable kids and their parents, all bundled up and cozy, Christmas music playing, and the sweetest sight of all… they were sharing pizza right there as they drove through the twinkling lights. 🍕🎄🚗✨

I couldn’t help myself — I asked, “What are you guys up to?”

And the parents said, *“This is our family tradition. We get Little Caesars and eat it in the car while we drive through the lights.”*

I don’t know what it was about that moment — maybe the warmth of the kids, the music, the simple joy of pizza and togetherness — but it felt like pure Christmas magic. The kind that reminds you the best traditions aren’t about big plans or perfect pictures… they’re about being present, being together, and sharing something special with your community. ❤️

And honestly… I wish I would’ve gotten a picture.

So if you’re the family we met — **KUDOS to you** for creating such an amazing tradition that brings your kids, your community, and the holiday spirit together in the sweetest way. You made our night.

Last night was such a wonderful night at Illuminate Ozaukee in Cedarburg! ✨💛

The light display was seriously so neat — bright, creative, and full of that cozy holiday magic. Everywhere you looked there was something new glowing, sparkling, and making you stop and say “WOW!” 😍🌟

One of the best parts was seeing local area non-profits represented so beautifully — shining so bright and colorful. It was such a fun reminder of how much good is happening right here in our community, and how many organizations are working hard to make Ozaukee County an even better place. 💙💚❤️

A huge thank you to Ozaukee Nonprofit Center for hosting us!! We had an absolute blast and are so grateful to be included in such a special event. 🎄✨

🏈💚 **Big news from Portal, Inc.!** 💛🏈

We’ve got a story to share that still has us smiling: Portal was *very fortunate* to receive a grant from the **Packers Foundation**! 🎉

As part of the celebration, Portal received **two invitations** to join in on the fun—and tour the Hall of Fame. We were able to send **Tom and Kevin** to soak it all up. They enjoyed a delicious lunch, great company, and plenty of festivities (and yes… a little Packers spirit in the air 😉).

We’re incredibly grateful for this support, which helps us keep doing the work that matters in our community.

We’re excited to share that tomorrow night from 5pm - 8pm, Portal, Inc. will be at the 6th Annual Illuminate Ozaukee Drive-thru Holiday Light Show at Herman A. Zeunert Park in Cedarburg!

⭐ All donations collected tomorrow night will directly benefit Portal and our programs. ⭐

So load up the car, grab some hot cocoa, and come enjoy a festive night of lights while supporting the people we serve. We’d love to see you out there! 💙
