Portal has a proud history of advocating for and supporting individuals primarily from Ozaukee and surrounding counties. Today, Portal serves more than 200 people with disabilities, providing the supports and experiences to life more fulfilling and meaningful lives.

💼✨ Job Club in action—powered by Portal’s Employment Services! ✨💼

Our members are leveling up their on-the-job superpowers—learning real-world skills and cheering each other on. Huge shoutout to our Employment Services team, who do a tremendous job keeping participants successfully and satisfactorily employed! 🙌

This month’s focus: Mindfulness 🧠💙

We explored quick, practical ways to stay focused, handle stress, and bring our best selves to work.

Past sessions featured special guests like:
🏦 Bank executives (money management tips)
🚕 Ozaukee Shared Ride Taxi staff (how to ride public taxi with confidence)
🤝 Staffing agency pros (cell phone etiquette & workplace do’s/don’ts)

Job Club runs year-round for people who are working or job-seeking. It’s equal parts learning and community—come share wins, tackle challenges, and grow together!

🎃 What a delight at Portal this Halloween! Our Adult Day Services put the pedal to the metal and created a full day of fun—costumes, crafts, music, games, and so many heartwarming interactions. From belly laughs to happy dances, the joy was off the charts. Thanks to everyone who made the magic happen! 👻🧡

👻🍂 Our art room is getting spooky—in the sweetest way! In pottery class we crafted these adorable ghosts, each with its own little details and personality. Look at those swirls, textures, and tiny expressions… but most importantly, so many SMILES! 🥹🎨
