Harrigan Development Services

Harrigan Development Services provides both vocational and supportive services to individuals with disabilities.

Harrigan Development Services provides vocational placement and coaching for people with disabilities and supportive services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Our supportive services program works with adults with developmental disabilities who are dealing with issues associated with transitioning to adulthood and who have seen all or most of their services cut off after high school. Clients and families work one-on-one with a clinical service provider to help engage in social activities and explore supports within their community. Our vocational services program works with individuals transitioning from school to work and those who are re-entering the workforce. HDS has a team of job developers and job coaches whose experience and expertise primarily center around helping clients with varying disabilities and employment needs. Whether assisting with the development of internships or permanent employment sites, the HDS team prides itself in finding innovative and creative ways to help individuals with the job search process. Harrigan Development Services also assists businesses to fulfill their diverse labor needs with pre-evaluated and job-ready candidates. Employers who seek out HDS are typically interested in finding qualified interns or permanent employees. HDS has worked with numerous small and large size businesses who have seen the win-win situation created by receiving trial employment at no cost, along with our team's continuous support to ensure success.

A huge thank you to our incredible community, staff, and clients for coming together to support our food drive for Family Sharing of Ozaukee County, Inc. Because of your generosity and teamwork, we were able to donate a reported 324 pounds of food. We’re so grateful for everyone who helped make a difference and showed what community care really looks like!

✨ Looking Ahead to 2026! ✨

This is a friendly reminder that we have two exciting groups starting up in 2026, and we can’t wait to kick off another year of connection, growth, and skill-building.

Whether you’re returning or considering joining for the first time, these groups offer supportive spaces for participants to build confidence, learn from one another, and grow together.

Holiday cheer in action! Our clients have been working hard to give back, serve others, and make a real difference in our community.

Our office has been running a food drive to support Family Sharing of Ozaukee County, Inc. , thanks to one of our great client’s ideas! We have already had one large pick up and will be continuing to collect food through December 27th!

Additionally, our Stepping Stones program complete multiple service projects including making tie blankets to donate to those in need and helping out our friends at Riveredge Nature Center!

These service projects are making meaningful impacts throughout our community, and we are grateful for our client’s commitment.

Our Winter Sibling Connection group kicks off in just about a month, and we couldn’t be more excited! We’re looking forward to welcoming new faces, reconnecting with returning families, and seeing the incredible growth that happens each session.
