Last year’s Giving Hearts Day donors provided this LUCAS automated CPR device for its Emergency Department. This device helps providers continue lifesaving CPR on patients when staffing may be limited or when transitioning patients to or from an ambulance. Every year for Giving Hearts Day, we ask community businesses or individuals to serve as matching gift donors to encourage others to participate. And it works! According to Dakota Medical Foundation, matching gifts help increase overall giving by 19%. If you or someone you know are interested in being a matching donor for UMC, please contact us by Friday, Jan. 23 so we can meet DMF’s reporting deadline. We have 13 matching gift commitments so far!
