Check out the new 💡LED lighting💡 recently installed in the UMC kitchen! Donors provided funding for this project at the 2025 Harvest Auction. Thank you!
The green brick in the photo will be covered in the near future, ensuring that the kitchen matches the modern cafeteria renovation completed last year.

We're happy to support Community Health Needs Assessment work groups with funds from our Programs Endowment. This is a wonderful resource for our region!

One of the priorities identified in our current Community Health Needs Assessment is helping older adults remain safely and comfortably in their homes. To support this goal, we created a resource guide, with printed copies available at the following locations:

• Community Health Service – Grafton
• Grafton Armory
• Grafton Chamber of Commerce
• Grafton Family Clinic
• Grafton VA Clinic
• Lutheran Sunset Home
• Park River Family Clinic
• Walsh County Health District
• Walsh County Food Pantry

Out of over 250 donors last week, 23% of them were UMC staff! 🥰 For all staff who donated, we offered a chance to win a Last Chance Bar & Grill gift card 🍕, and clinic FNP Tricia Buckalew is the lucky winner! Thanks to all of our staff for supporting UMC in more ways than one!

We also want to thank The Silo Boutique and everyone who shopped there in Grafton this week for their Shop for a Cause promotion benefiting UMCF! You all helped us improve patient care at UMC.

Our hearts are bursting for the 200+ donors who helped us meet our goal for the Pharmacy renovation ✅ and the purchase of two bladder scanners for our clinics in Grafton and Park River ✅✅! We ended about $2,200 short of our goal for a third bladder scanner for the hospital, and we’ll be reviewing options next week to close that gap. We can never say THANK YOU enough!! We love our community! 🥰

We have reached 75% of our goal! 🥰 We have surpassed our goal for the UMC Pharmacy renovation and secured funding for one bladder scanner (pictured), a piece of equipment frequently used at UMC, wheeled between the clinic, hospital, Surgery Center and Emergency Department. We're $5,000 away from a second bladder scanner for our Park River Family Clinic. And if we're lucky enough to raise funds for a third scanner, we'll reserve it for UMC hospital patients.
