We had a special visitor at UMC in 2024 - WWII vet Rev. Dale Peterson. He joined the military at just 17 years old, right after his sophomore year of high school. He saw two different sides of the war, the fighting and the liberating, as he was on a ship that liberated thousands of POW's after the war was over. Incredible! Thank you to Dale and all of the veteran's that have served our country.

Today is a special day to honor our area veterans. Please join us this afternoon on the 3rd floor of Unity Medical Center for our 1st Anniversary Social of the Veterans Memorial wall. There are photos of 250 area veterans to commemorate. We will have a short program, fellowship and sweet treats.
