The Mebane Police Department is proud to announce that Captain Jeremiah Richardson has been selected as the department’s next Assistant Chief of Police, effective January 2, 2026.

Captain Richardson has demonstrated strong leadership, sound judgment, and a deep commitment to serving the Mebane community. Through a comprehensive assessment selection process, he distinguished himself as a leader prepared to help guide the department forward while continuing our focus on professionalism, accountability, and community engagement.

Get ready — Santa is teaming up with Graham Fire as he rides around on Truck 10 for our annual Santa Tour!

📅 December 13th – South Graham
🕐 1pm–6pm

📅 December 14th – North Graham
🕐 1pm–6pm

Santa will be waving, spreading cheer, and — as always — he has a special candy treat for all the kids along the way! 🍬✨

We can’t wait to see the community come out and enjoy this holiday tradition with us.
