Interested in gaining real clinical experience? 🩺

The Shadowing Experience Program at Vida Mobile Clinic is designed for students with limited clinical exposure who are passionate about serving under-resourced communities. Participants will receive hands-on training, shadowing hours, volunteer opportunities, and more!

✨ Participants receive:
• A 3M Littmann Lightweight II S.E. Stethoscope
• A pair of FIGS scrubs
• 4 hours of shadowing
• 4 hours of volunteering
• Vital signs & blood sugar screening training
• Graduate school application preparation

Last day of American Heart Month but you shouldn’t put your heart health last!❤️
High blood pressure (hypertension) happens when the force of blood pushing against your arteries stays too high for too long. It makes your heart work harder and many people have it without even knowing.
⚠️ Most people don’t feel symptoms, but very high blood pressure can cause:
• Headaches
• Shortness of breath
• Chest pain
• Dizziness
• Blurry vision

💡 Risk factors include:
• Too much salt
• Not being active
• Being overweight
• Smoking
• Drinking too much alcohol
• Family history

Your heart works hard for you every day, take care of it! 💪🩺

The Shadowing Experience Program is BACK for 2026!
Thanks to support from the California Department of Health Care Access and Information, we’re opening applications once again.

👥 Only 10 participants per cohort
⏰ Spots are limited. Apply early!
Our program is designed for students with limited clinical exposure and offers shadowing hours, clinical skills training, and volunteer opportunities. We prioritize those who’ve faced educational or economic barriers and are committed to serving under-resourced communities.

📚 Plus, we’ll be hosting 5 workshops in 2026. More details coming soon!
