✨ Giving Tuesday Update! ✨
As of 4 PM, our incredible community has helped us raise $1,805 toward our $10,000 goal! 💚Thank you to everyone who has given so far. Your generosity fuels our mission every single day.
Today, we also want to highlight the words of our amazing volunteer Hannah, who shares how Vida has shaped her journey in healthcare:
💬 “When I first learned that a non-profit organization like Vida was dedicated to empowering young leaders and helping the underserved community through healthcare access, I knew I wanted to be a part of it, and I knew how much impact it would have on me as a student and as a future healthcare provider. Vida has helped me gain experience in a variety of roles through public outreach, the foot clinic for the unhoused, and the Pre-Health Career Enrichment Program.
One of the moments I love to see in our mobile foot clinics is patients coming back to receive follow-up treatment and tell us that their feet are getting better! Moments like this show us that the mission at Vida is truly making a difference! This tells us that they trust us, which is an important foundation to have in healthcare—building rapport with patients! As Dr. Caldwell taught us to have a big, hairy, audacious goal, I will create a transformative organization in the future for the disadvantaged Asian community here in the United States and in the Philippines, making an impact similar to what Vida has given me. I am deeply grateful to Ana, PA-C, and Karla, PA-C who have inspired me so much!”
