In service, the level of commitment shapes the level of impact. What we have seen from this community is a willingness to step up, to take on the challenge, and to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. We are so grateful for our renovation and the work that will continue inside these walls every day.
Our community made this happen. Thank you for believing in this mission, for building with us, and for continuing to stand beside us!

Come celebrate with us! Our renovation is complete and we want to share it with you! Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Noon

Looks like the cold weather will be hitting us hard this weekend, if you have any coats to get rid of NOW IS THE TIME to bring those to us!! If you need a coat, we have a few right now. Below is the current list of warming centers with more being added soon. We will share updates.

🚨WARMING CENTERS 🚨
In preparation for the incoming winter weather, Hood County has partnered with Mission Granbury to establish three Warming Centers across the county to provide a warm place for those who need to get out of the cold.

📍The Hood County YMCA will be open on Saturday (1/24) from 7am-5pm.
📍First Christian Church will be open Friday (1/23) beginning at 5pm through Sunday (1/25) at 9pm.
📍Pecan Plantation EMS will be open Friday (1/23) beginning at 5pm through Sunday (1/25) at 9pm.

🚨IMPORTANT UPDATE - WARMING CENTER🚨

At this time, the YMCA will no longer be able to offer its facilities as a warming center. We recognize this may affect members of our community who were planning to use this space, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding, and please continue to stay safe. The First Christian Church and Pecan Plantation EMS warming locations remain available through the weekend if needed.
