Overcoming Immuno-Fatigue & Building Immunity BEFORE ‘Cold/Flu Season’ (Part 2)

If you missed part 1, you can find it at askdrsharla.com—Let’s get to the proverbial meat & potatoes of strengthening your immunity. There are things you need to add & things you need to remove:
Add:
1) optimize your Vitamin D levels, getting sunshine on your skin daily is critical, if you cannot do that then supplementing Vitamin D3 is an option. My favorite is Innate Choice Organic D Sufficiency.
2) Heal your GUT: grass-fed bone broth, probiotic foods (like organic sauerkraut) or supplements to restore optimal good bacteria, ION Gut Support daily if you have gut issues whatsoever;
3) Plenty of Vitamin C (citrus fruits and cruciferous vegetables are great sources, Vitamin A (liver, cod liver oil, carrots sweet potatoes) I like a desiccated beef organ supplement called Organ+, Elderberry;
4) Cold Plunges or Cold Showers, just 1-3 minutes can give your immune system a boost;
5) Prioritize good, restful sleep
Remove:
1) Processed sugar (in drinks or foods), it’s the easiest & fasted way to tank your immunity;
2) Products made with processed grains & white flour;
3) Processed food in general, junk food, products that contain more than 3-4 ingredients especially ones you can’t pronounce; 4) Stress;
5) Antibiotics, they can significantly decrease your immunity over time
