We are partnering with Patriot Ambulance Services to raise money and toys for Hurley Children's Hospital. The goal is to raise $10,000 to brighten the holidays for families in need for the holidays. If you are able to please donate new books, craft supplies, games, and gift cards. Please feel free to drop them off at the Assisted Living entrance of The Oaks at Woodfield in our drop box.

Our inside Trunk or Treat was fun for the residents and the kids. It is hard to tell who ate the most candy the residents or the kids.

Next week's soup for our fundraiser will be beef barley soup on Thursday, October 16th soup will be $7.00 for 32OZ. Please call (810-606-9950) and ask for admissions to have your order in by 3pm on Wednesday, October 15th. Pick up time will be October 16th between 11am and 3pm. All proceeds will go to the Alzheimer's foundation.

Last week we played a game with our residents called Trust your Residents. A plastic cup was placed on top of the workers head and the residents would have to hit the cup off their heads with a pool noddle. It was an exciting time

When a community goes through a tragedy we pull together and support each other. Today we gave thanks and appreciation for our first responders following the tragic events last weekend. Our thanks go out to our first responders, and our hearts and prayers go out to all the victims and their families.
