The good news? With prenatal care and support from a health care team trained in high-risk pregnancies, many people have healthy pregnancies and healthy babies.

Did you know that black dogs are often the least adopted pets?

October 1 is National Black Dog Day and we want to shine a light on these wonderful companions who are often overlooked. Sanford Health employee Paula Jungberg volunteers with a local pet rescue program as a foster parent for pets looking for their forever homes. Paula shares, "It is a rewarding yet challenging experience giving a dog a loving environment to heal and prepare for a new home.
It requires patience, compassion, and commitment. It is sad to see the dogs leave, but once you see them with their forever family, it fills your heart with joy."

Let's celebrate the beauty and love that pets dogs bring into our lives. Consider adopting or fostering.

We’re excited to share that the Grand Forks Clinic has officially upgraded to a new, state-of-the-art MRI machine—the Signa Artist 1.5T with a 70cm bore opening. This advanced technology replaces our previous MRI system and brings significant improvements in patient comfort, image quality, and scan efficiency.

What’s New:
-Larger Bore Opening (70cm): Ideal for patients who are claustrophobic or require more space.
-Shorter Scan Times: Many exams will be completed faster, reducing time spent in the scanner.
-Permanent Installation: This is no longer the “MRI truck”—it’s a top-tier, permanent fixture at our clinic.

This upgrade allows us to serve more patients locally, including those who previously had to travel to other facilities. We’re proud to offer one of the best MRI experiences in the region, right here in Grand Forks.
