Long Term Care Administrators' Week: Celebrating Our Leaders
During Long Term Care Administrators Week, we are proud to recognize the leaders who help guide the mission and care at Valley Senior Living.
We honor Garth Rydland, who began his administrator journey in 1996 at Almonte Living Center. When the flood of 1997 forced the care community to close, Garth’s leadership during that challenging time set the tone for the kind of administrator he would continue to be. Following the loss of Almonte Living Center, he helped guide the construction and development of Valley on 42nd and served as the administrator there through 2016. Since 2014, Garth has also served as the Administrator of Valley on Columbia and as President/CEO for the organization. This year marks 30 years of service as an administrator.
We also recognize Gina Roller, who first served as Administrator at Valley Transitions from 2018 to 2020. In 2021, she became the Administrator of Woodside Village at Valley on 42nd, where she continues to support both residents and care partners.
Angie Goulet began her Valley journey in 1997 as a Licensed Nurse at Valley on Columbia (then Valley Eldercare). Over the years, she has served in many roles, including Treatment Nurse, Charge Nurse, MDS Care Coordinator, and Director of Personal Care Services. In 2008, she transferred to Tufte Manor as Director of Personal Care Services for both Tufte Manor and Wheatland Terrace and later stepped into the Administrator role, where she continues to lead with compassion and commitment.
In addition, we are proud to recognize members of our leadership team who also hold Long Term Care Administrator licenses, including Adam Edwards, Chief Human Resources Officer; Megan Anderson, Administrative Project Coordinator; and Jessica Baumgarten, Director of Nursing at Valley Senior Living on Columbia.
Thank you to all of these leaders for the dedication and vision they bring to serving our residents, families, and staff each day.
