We offer straight shifts with weekend and shift differentials in the following areas:
•Licensed Staff (RNs and LPNs)
•Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
•Therapeutic Recreation
•Environmental Services (laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, custodian)
•Dining Services (cooks, cooks assistants, aides)

Employment Benefits

Benefits start after 3 months of employment to qualified employees including:

🎀 Valley Senior Living on Columbia: Paint the Patch Pink 2025

Valley on Columbia proudly hosted the annual Paint the Patch Pink event to support Breast Cancer Awareness.

Each year, residents, staff, and families come together to decorate pink pumpkins in honor of those affected by breast cancer. The pumpkins are on display, and visitors, staff, and residents can vote for their favorite by making a monetary donation. All funds raised are donated to the Altru Cancer Center and the Altru Foundation. This year we raised over $300 with our pink pumpkin patch! 💗

We extend a sincere thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to another successful event. Your support helps make a difference in our community!

🌿 Celebrating Pastoral Care Week 🌿

This week, we join others across the nation in celebrating Pastoral Care Week, a time to recognize the compassionate and dedicated work of our chaplains at Valley Senior Living. 💚

Since the very first Pastoral Care Week in October 1985, this annual celebration has honored those who provide spiritual support, comfort, and guidance in times of joy, challenge, and reflection.

At Valley Senior Living, pastoral and chaplain care has been an essential part of the care we have provided for over 100 years. Our chaplains walk alongside residents, families, and team members, offering a listening ear, a prayer, or simply a presence that brings peace and hope.

This week, we give special thanks to our chaplains and all who share in this sacred work. We are honored by our deep roots in providing compassionate Christian care here at Valley Senior Living, a legacy of faith and service that dates back more than a century.

Danke schön, Grand Forks! The 5th Annual Oktoberfest at the Alerus Center on September 25 was a wunderbar celebration—and it wouldn’t have been possible without YOU!

Thanks to our incredible community, generous sponsors, silent auction donors, attendees, and online bidders, we raised over $56,000 to support the Community Connections Program and Wishing Well Fund at Valley Senior Living.
