✨ We’re Coming Back Under One Roof! ✨

We’re excited to share that starting January 2026, all Alfrey & Pruitt Counseling services will be offered at one unified location — our main office at:

📍 403 Lexington Circle, Grand Island, NE

After several years of growing across two buildings, our team is moving back together to create a more seamless, supportive experience for our clients. You’ll still see the same clinicians you know and trust — just in one easier-to-find location.

Most of our team will be settled in by January 5th, 2026. Your clinician or our front office will let you know when their move date is official.

💛 What stays the same?
• The same high-quality, trauma-informed care
• The same team of therapists
• The same phone number & email
• Telehealth available statewide

This transition helps us deliver care in a more collaborative, calming, and trauma-informed environment — and we can’t wait to welcome you into our fully unified space.

If you have questions or want to confirm your appointment location, call us anytime at 308-675-2858.

Here’s to a fresh start in a shared home. 💛

🍂 Holiday Closure Announcement — Alfrey & Pruitt Counseling

Our offices will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after so our team can rest, gather with loved ones, and reflect on the season with gratitude.

We’ll resume normal hours on Monday.

From our hearts to yours, happy holidays. May this long weekend bring steadiness, warmth, and moments of connection. If you need to reach us while we’re away, feel free to leave a message or use your client portal, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we return.

🌿 Our Blessing Box Is Open — A Year-Round Space for Giving and Receiving

Healing doesn’t just happen in therapy sessions. It happens in everyday moments of kindness and community care.
That’s why Alfrey & Pruitt Counseling is proud to announce that our first Blessing Box is officially up and open at our 659 Orleans Dr., Suite 2 location in Grand Island!

This year-round box is a place where anyone can take what they need and leave what they can — no questions asked. Inside, you’ll find shelf-stable food, toiletries, handmade comfort items, and other small essentials, freely available to anyone in our community.

If you’d like to help keep the box stocked, you can drop off donations at either of our offices:
📍 659 Orleans Dr., Suite 2 (Blessing Box currently located here)
📍 403 Lexington Cir (collection site — we’re working on installing a second box soon!)

What to give:
• Non-expired, sealed food items
• Toiletries, hygiene products, or baby supplies
• Items like hats, scarves, cards, or small gifts of encouragement
• Items that are safe, clean, and in good condition

How it works:
Take only what you or your family truly need, and leave what you can. It’s that simple. Every small act helps someone feel cared for.

We’re also exploring a Giving Tree—a place to share seasonal needs like hats, gloves, and gift cards during the colder months. If that idea warms your heart, we’d love your feedback as we bring it to life.

Whether you’re stopping by for therapy or just passing through, the Blessing Box is a gentle reminder that generosity and healing can go hand-in-hand.

💛 Take what you need. Leave what you can.
Together, we make our community stronger.

🎄 Coping with Stress During the Holiday Season 🎁

The holidays are often called “the most wonderful time of the year,” but for many, they can also be one of the most stressful. Between family dynamics, financial pressures, and packed schedules, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed.

Here are a few gentle reminders to help keep your well-being in focus this season:

✨ Set realistic expectations. Not everything has to be perfect. Focus on connection, not perfection.

💬 Communicate boundaries. It’s okay to say no to events or requests that drain your energy. Protect your peace.

🕯️ Take mindful moments. Whether it’s a short walk, deep breathing, or quiet time with your coffee, carve out moments of calm.

💖 Acknowledge your feelings. The holidays can bring up grief, loneliness, or anxiety. Give yourself permission to feel and seek support if needed.

👥 Reach out. If stress feels overwhelming, you don’t have to go through it alone. Talking to a counselor can help you regain balance and clarity.

From all of us at Alfrey and Pruitt Counseling, we wish you a season filled with peace, compassion, and self-care. 🌟
